Currently, Bart and John represent the third generation of Davies to manage the Lethbridge Iron Works. Bart's son Dylan is a fourth generation member of the Davies family and is employed in engineering. John Davies, P.Eng. has been with the company since 1988, two years after graduating from the University of Alberta with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). John is Vice-President Engineering & Operations and is responsible for the plant, equipment and computer systems. John's endeavors to computerize and modernize the equipment help to provide quality castings and on time deliveries. |

Bart Davies is Vice-President Production & Sales. Bart's 32 years of knowledge and experience ensure that customer expectations are consistently exceeded. Bart's thorough understanding of tooling construction helps the customer design the most cost-effective cast part possible. |

Richard Dietl has had many roles in his 30 years, and has been the Purchasing Manager for the past 19 years. Richard's experience as a production worker and millwright in the foundry helps him to secure parts and materials to keep the foundry operating at peak performance. |

Dave Rynenberg began his foundry career more than 40 years ago in England where he received extensive training in all aspects of casting production. During his 28 years at LIW he has been involved in the moulding, melting and quality control departments. As Quality Assurance Manager he is responsible for ensuring that customers receive the highest quality castings every time they place an order. |

Mel Collier began his career at Lethbridge Iron Works over 30 years ago. He worked his way up into sales 20 years ago and has been Sales Manager since 2004. Mel's ability to listen to customer needs and deliver on them continues to foster the many long term relationships that the company has with its customers. |

Richard Carr was promoted to Maintenance Manager in 1998 after 20 years as a millwright in the maintenance department. His vast knowledge is essential as the foundry continues to grow and implement new technology to keep the foundry automated. |

Elmer Degenstein has been with us since 1972 and was promoted to Production Manager in 1998. The knowledge Elmer gained during more than a quarter century in various areas in the foundry helps him ensure that the castings his team produces are on time. Elmer is proud of the high level of quality that comes out of the foundry. |

Ken Firth is Moulding Team Leader. Ken's father Al was foundry foreman, and had over 50 years with the company when he retired in 1992. Ken followed in his Dad's footsteps and has 40+ years experience at the foundry. Ken assists Elmer with scheduling, quality control and production supervision. |

Blair Lozza started working for Lethbridge Iron Works in 1993 as a student while attending the University of Lethbridge where he completed a Bachelor of Management degree. Blair chose to stay with the company after graduating and was the Cleaning Room Foreman for three years. Blair replaced Shirley Setoguchi as Controller in January 2001. |

Calvin Miller has been with Lethbridge Iron Works since 1992. He held numerous positions within the company prior to assuming his current role as Human Resources Manager, a role that he took on in the Fall of 2000. Calvin has overall responsibility for employee relations, benefits, hirings and other functions. |

Jeff Marshall began his career at Lethbridge Iron Works in 1994 starting with positions in the melt department and the shipping department. Jeff was promoted to Programs Manager in 2004. Up until that time, Jeff managed the company Health and Safety program, the WCB claims management program and loss prevention services. His responsibilities as of 2004 now include the maintenance and further development of the company Quality Assurance program. |

Dylan Davies worked all over the plant for five years as a student before receiving a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1997. Since receiving his diploma he serves as Projects Manager with the company. Dylan is responsible for equipment installations and upgrades as well as mechanical systems design in the plant. |

Tracy Meier has been with the company since December 2000. She is the company's administrative support, Accounts Receivable contact, and assists with the administration, maintenance, and further development of the company's Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Programs. She also covers off our sales department in their absence. |

Dan Foley started with the company in 1997 as a grinder in the finishing department. He moved his way into the Area Trainer position in 2000 where he was responsible for new employee orientation and hands-on training. Dan became the Finishing Departments Area Team Leader in 2003, and was promoted to Finishing Manager in 2006 which includes the cleaning department, the degating line, and the count and pack area. |
