name, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address
- Description of part including
part number
- Model, drawing or sample
- Estimated annual usage and shipping
release quantities
- Material specification (ASTM
or SAE grade)
- Weight of part (if available)
-- iron weighs 0.26 pounds / cu. in.
- If the casting is part of an
assembly, any assembly drawings or associated information is
helpful
- Special requirements specific
to the casting
- If this is not a new part, any
history regarding quality issues/problems
- Description of existing pattern
and corebox tooling if available (digital photos help!)
- Value-added machining (if required)
including specifications/drawing
- Value-added paint/primer/coating
description (if required) including specifications
- Special packaging or shipping
requirements
